There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from watching other women’s lives.

You can be steady in your own lane minding your own business and then, within minutes, start questioning everything because someone else’s life looks faster, bigger, further along.

Comparison rarely feels like envy… it feels responsible. Like you are simply evaluating where you stand.

But underneath it is the same question Peter asked.

What about her?

Jesus had just told Peter what his road would look like. It involved stretching, surrender. It was not designed for applause.

Peter immediately looks at John.

Lord, what about him?

Jesus didn’t give him a breakdown of John’s future. He did not offer reassurance through comparison. He redirected him.

What is that to you? You follow Me.

I remember when I was fairly new to blogging. I would scroll through other women’s platforms and feel that quiet ache in my chest. They were getting speaking engagements. Their websites were ranking on page one of Google. Their names seemed to be circulating in rooms I had never stepped into.

And I would wonder if I was missing something.

Was I less gifted?
Less strategic?
Less knowledgable?
Less called?

If I am honest, that feeling STILL tries to creep in sometimes.

And it can be debilitating! It can make you want to throw in the towel. It’s what comparison is meant to do!

But Scripture keeps pulling me back.

Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 10:12:

Comparison distorts clarity. It makes us evaluate calling through visibility.

Galatians 6:4 says:

That requires discipline. It requires staying in your lane long enough to see what God is actually building.

Psalm 139 reminds us that our days were written before one of them came to be. That includes timing. That includes growth. That includes obscurity.

In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul describes the body with many parts. The hand is not the eye. The foot is not the ear. Different roles, same Spirit. When you start measuring yourself against someone else’s assignment, you forget you are part of something designed.

Hebrews 12:1 tells us to run with endurance the race set before us. Not the race set before her. The one set before us.

And Jesus’ words to Peter still stand.

What is that to you?

You follow Me.

1. Where have I been measuring progress by visibility instead of obedience?

2. What would change if I believed my timeline was authored by God?

3. Am I running my race, or tracking someone else’s?

“Yeshua said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” — John 14:6 (TLV)

The name Yeshua means “salvation.” It’s not just a title. It is His very identity and mission. From the angel’s message to Joseph: “She will give birth to a son; and you shall call His name Yeshua, for He will save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21 TLV), we see God’s redemption plan revealed. His name is His promise: salvation for all who call on Him.

When you cry out to Yeshua, you are calling on the Deliverer who already conquered sin and death. His name itself declares victory.

The Way in the Wilderness

Life can feel like a desert. Dry seasons, difficult choices, and unknowns that stretch us thin. But Yeshua doesn’t just point the way; He is the Way. He doesn’t just reveal truth; He is the Truth. And He doesn’t simply give life; He is Life itself.

When everything feels uncertain, His Word reassures us: “Yeshua the Messiah is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8 TLV).

The Life We Crave

The world promises “fullness” in success, money, or recognition. But Yeshua redefines abundance: “The thief comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I have come that they might have life, and have it abundantly!” (John 10:10 TLV).

Life in Yeshua is not measured in possessions, but in His peace, His joy, and His unfailing love. In Him, we aren’t just surviving: we are fully alive.

A Prayer

Yeshua, my Redeemer, thank You for being my Way when I feel lost, my Truth when I am confused, and my Life when I am weary. Thank You that Your very name means salvation. Help me walk today in the fullness of who You are. Amen.

Exodus 3:5
“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”

💖 The Teaching

We tend to call things holy after the breakthrough.

We shout about holy ground when the door opens.
We celebrate holy ground when the prayers are answered.
We testify about holy ground when the full promise is visible.

But God calls the middle holy too.

When God spoke to Moses from the burning bush, Moses was not at his promised destination yet. He was not leading Israel yet. He was not splitting the Red Sea yet. He was standing in the middle of nowhere… and God declared, “This is holy ground.”

Moses was standing in a place that felt small, ordinary, and even confusing. He had left Egypt, but he was not yet walking in his full assignment. He was in transition, in-between what was and what would be. Yet God met him right there and called that place holy.

Some of us are waiting for the big moment to call our season holy. We are waiting for the platform, the open door, the answered prayer. But right here, in this exact spot where you feel unsure, uncomfortable, or even forgotten, God says, "This is holy ground too."

The middle is not meaningless. The middle is where God shapes your character, refines your heart, and prepares you for the weight of what is coming.

💎 The Coaching Moment

Stop despising the middle.

The middle is the place where:

• God proves Himself faithful

• You learn to hear His voice

• Your roots go deeper

• Your faith gets stronger

• Your confidence is built in Him, not in the outcome

The world celebrates the arrival. God celebrates the process.

You may feel unseen right now, but you are not unknown to God. He sees you standing here. He sees the steps you are taking in quiet obedience. He sees your sacrifice, your private worship, your hidden discipline. And He calls this holy.

You do not have to wait for the finish line to celebrate His presence. The ground you are standing on right now is sacred because He is standing there with you.

The middle is holy ground.

💖 The Teaching

Wrestling seasons are the ones we do not talk about enough.
We love the breakthrough stories.
We love the praise reports.
We love the testimonies when it all comes together.

But what about those in-between moments where you are still wrestling? You are still praying. You are still believing. You are still hoping. And at the same time, you are exhausted, frustrated, and wondering how much longer you can hold on.

Jacob wrestled with God all night. He did not understand everything that was happening, but he refused to let go. That is where many of us find ourselves.

You can love God and still wrestle with questions.
You can trust His plan and still wrestle with fear.
You can believe His promises and still wrestle with doubt.
The wrestle is not the absence of faith. The wrestle is evidence that you are still holding on.

God never condemned Jacob for wrestling. In fact, He blessed him right there in the middle of it. The blessing came because Jacob refused to let go. He was willing to limp if it meant leaving with a blessing.

Sometimes your breakthrough will not look like a clean, easy process. Sometimes it will come after a long, hard wrestle where you say, “God, I do not understand, but I am not letting go.”

💎 The Coaching Moment

You may not feel strong right now. That is okay. God never asked you to be strong enough. He just asked you to hold on.

Wrestling seasons are not wasted. They produce a deeper level of surrender, maturity, and dependency on God that you could not learn any other way. The wrestle teaches you to trust God, not because everything makes sense, but because He is still worthy of your trust even when nothing makes sense.

You may walk with a limp like Jacob did, but you will walk with a testimony too. And that limp will remind you that even in your weakest place, God was faithful.

If you are wrestling right now, you are not failing. You are fighting. And you are still in position for God to bless you right there in the struggle.

Do not let go.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

💖 The Teaching

Let’s just go ahead and say it. Doing the right thing consistently can feel exhausting.

You pray.
You sow.
You serve.
You stay faithful.
You keep showing up.

And sometimes, if we are honest, it feels like nothing is happening.

You look around and wonder why everyone else seems to be getting their breakthrough while you are still out here being "faithful in the fields." You start wondering if maybe you missed something. Maybe you should have done more. Maybe you should have done less. Maybe you should have figured out a shortcut.

Endurance is not glamorous. Nobody applauds consistency while you are in the middle of it. It is not exciting. It is not flashy. It is not Instagram-worthy. But it is powerful.

Because God is not looking for people who just start strong. He is looking for people who finish well.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us that the harvest is guaranteed, but only for those who refuse to give up. That means the promise is still alive as long as you keep standing. The seed you planted is not dead. It is developing. You just cannot always see it while it is underground.

Endurance says, "I do not need to see results today to believe God is still working."
Endurance says, "I am not going to get out of position just because I feel tired."
Endurance says, "I trust that my faithfulness will produce fruit in due season."

The harvest is scheduled. The question is not if it is coming. The question is whether you will still be standing when it arrives.

💎 The Coaching Moment

This is where so many people forfeit their breakthrough. Right before the harvest breaks through the soil, they grow weary. Discouragement sets in. Fatigue starts speaking louder than faith.

Do not let temporary exhaustion cause permanent forfeiture.

Rest when you need to rest.
Cry when you need to cry.
Pause when you need to pause.
But do not quit.

If God said you would reap, then you will reap. Your job is to keep the seed in the ground and stay positioned for the promise.

The enemy knows he cannot cancel your harvest, but if he can convince you to quit, you will walk away from what was already scheduled for you. Do not let him talk you out of what God already secured.

Your endurance is not wasted. God sees every hidden act of faithfulness. He sees every unseen seed. He sees every tear, every prayer, and every moment you chose to stand when quitting would have been easier.

Stay planted. The harvest is coming.

This weekend isn’t calling you to hustle… it’s asking you to pause. Not for productivity. Not for perfection. Just for presence.

Be still. That’s a command with teeth, not a suggestion. It’s a soul posture. A moment when you quiet your mind and let His heart speak louder.

The world screams for your movement. Your schedules, your plate, your pressure cooker of “go-go-go.” But sometimes the strongest move is no move at all. It’s stillness.

🧘‍♀️ Stillness isn’t nothing. It’s everything.
It’s where clarity comes.
It’s where courage rebuilds.
It’s where noise fades and truth rises.

🔥 Coaching Nugget:
You don’t need to do more to be more loved. You only need to be still enough to receive what He’s already given. He gave us a Sabbath for rest… not to do more. So rest! Rest from your work. Rest from the pressure to do more. Rest in His presence.

💬 This Week’s Challenge:
Find a five-minute window…early morning, quiet afternoon, right before sleep. Just sit. Breathe. Repeat this sentence slowly:
“Lord, I’m still. I’m here. I’m listening.”

Then rest in His presence. Even if nothing changes externally, something is shifting inside.

✨ Mini‑Memo from Your Word Girl:
You’re not missing something.
God isn’t hiding in the noise.
He’s waiting in the stillness, calling you back to deeper peace, deeper presence, deeper You.

Let this weekend be a sacred pause.
Let it be holy.
Let it be enough.

Whew. This one’s personal, loves.
Because if we’re honest, control feels safe.
We like knowing what’s coming.
We like having a plan.
We like being able to predict the outcome.

And when we can’t?
Anxiety creeps in.
Overthinking takes over.
We start trying to "help God out" with our own backup plans.

I’ve caught myself praying:

“Lord, I trust You… but just in case You need a little help, I’ll be over here micro-managing it.”

But here’s the truth:
Surrender isn’t weakness, surrender is strength.

Surrender says:

• "I don’t have to know everything."
  

• "I don’t have to control everything."
  

• "I don’t have to carry what God never assigned me to carry."
  

The more I try to lean on my own understanding, the heavier it gets.
The more I lean on Him, the lighter my soul becomes.

Surrender is not giving up, it’s giving it to God.

💎 The Coaching Moment:

There are some things in life you simply will not be able to control:

• The timing

• The outcome

• Other people’s choices

• The process God uses to shape you

But you can control where you place your trust.

When God says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart," He’s not suggesting partial trust… He’s calling for full surrender.

Full surrender is scary.
It means we’re no longer holding the reins.
But full surrender is where peace lives.

There’s a freedom that comes when you stop rehearsing worst-case scenarios and start resting in God’s sovereignty.

I don’t know the full plan, but I know Who holds it.
I don’t see all the details, but I know the One who’s already in my tomorrow.

🙏 Prayer:

Father, I release my desire to control outcomes I was never meant to carry.
Teach me to trust You fully.
Help me surrender not just my problems but my need to manage the process.
Lead me on straight paths, and give me peace as I follow You.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Faith isn’t always angelic. It’s gritty. It’s persistent.
It’s Jacob… limping, bruised, fully spent… and still refusing to let go.
Still clinging to a God who feels silent but sacred.
Still believing, even in the dark.

And listen: that wrestle? It does not represent weakness. It’s intimacy.

Some of the deepest encounters with God don’t come through peace.
They come through persistence.

They come when you’re exhausted but still whispering, “I’m not letting go.”

🔥 Coaching Nugget:
Wrestling doesn’t mean you lost your faith.
It means your faith has grown teeth.
When your prayers sound more like protest than praise, that’s not rebellion.
That’s a soul refusing to walk away.

If I could sit across from you this week and look you square in the eye, I’d tell you this:

God is not offended by your questions.
Not one of them. Not the raw ones. Not the ugly ones. Not even the ones you’ve been too afraid to say out loud.

He’s not offended.
He’s inviting you to bring it all.

Because real faith doesn’t hide the wrestle.
It brings it to the table.

💬 This Week’s Challenge:
What are you wrestling with right now?

Name it. Don’t pretty it up. Don’t make it cute. Don’t try to frame it nice and neat for your journal. Let it out…the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Set a timer for five minutes and journal this sentence:
“God, here’s what I’m holding that I don’t know what to do with…”

Then tell Him.
Not the Sunday school version, the raw one.
He’s not afraid of your honesty. He welcomes it.

✨ Mini-Memo from Your Word Girl:
If your faith feels like a fight right now, that doesn’t mean you’re broken.
It means you’re bold enough to bring your full self to the feet of the Father.

So don’t tap out.
Keep wrestling. Keep reaching.
And watch what happens when heaven meets honesty.

Let’s not sugarcoat it, sis:
Peace isn’t always natural — it’s intentional.

We live in a world where anxiety feels normal and fear feels justified.
Everything around us screams:

• “What if it doesn’t work out?”

• “What if I fail?”

• “What if God doesn’t come through this time?”

The enemy would love to keep you spinning in those questions.
Because a restless mind is an easy target.

But here’s the truth:
Peace isn’t passive. Peace is warfare.
It’s not some cute little vibe you light a candle for.
It’s a spiritual discipline that shuts the enemy down.

Isaiah says that God keeps us in perfect peace when our minds are stayed on Him, not on our circumstances, not on our worries, not on our limited understanding, but stayed on Him.

That word “stayed” means fixed, locked in, anchored.

💎 The Coaching Moment:

I’ve learned that peace isn’t something I wait to feel, it’s something I fight to keep.

There’ve been days I prayed for peace but then picked the worry right back up like it was my favorite accessory.

You know how it goes:

• We give it to God at 9:00 AM.

• By noon, we’re already replaying worst-case scenarios.

• By bedtime, we’re wide awake planning our own backup plan, "just in case."

But peace requires release.
Peace shows up when I surrender my need to control outcomes.

Every time anxiety rises, it’s a signal that my mind has drifted from God’s truth to my own limited logic.

The enemy wants you rattled.
Because when you’re rattled, you’re distracted.
But when you walk in peace, you become dangerous to the kingdom of darkness.

You walk differently when you know God’s got it.
You speak differently when your heart is settled.

When worry rises, pull me back into Your truth.
I release what I cannot control into Your hands.

Let’s keep it real: most of us don’t open our Bibles because we think we’re not ready.
Not smart enough.
Not disciplined enough.

But this verse says otherwise. It tells us that the Word itself is what brings light. Not your study plan. Not your perfection. Just God’s Word…unfolding, illuminating, breaking through the clutter with simple truth.

You don’t need a seminary degree to start. You just need to show up.

💖 The Teaching:

Let’s keep it all the way real today, sis:
Obedience is beautiful… until it’s uncomfortable.

We love to shout about "walking by faith" until that walk requires us to leave something familiar behind.
That’s exactly where God met Abraham.

God didn’t give him a 10-step blueprint.
No map. No timeline. No explanation.
Just one simple (but scary) instruction:

“Leave what’s familiar. I’ll show you as you go.”

And that’s where many of us get stuck.

Because we want to obey, but we also want to feel safe, certain, and secure.
We want faith with a safety net.
We want clarity before commitment.
We want the blessing without leaving the familiar.

But friend, comfort is not where your calling lives.
Your calling lives in the unfamiliar obedience.

There have been so many moments where God asked me to step into something I wasn’t ready for.

• Start writing when I didn’t feel qualified.

• Speak when my voice was still shaking.

• Launch a ministry when the blueprint wasn’t finished.

• Trust His timing when my own timeline felt "more reasonable."

Every single time, I wrestled.
“Lord, can’t You just show me everything first so I feel a little more comfortable walking this out?”

And you know what He whispered back in my heart?

“If I showed you everything, you wouldn’t need Me.”

Obedience often requires us to move without full understanding.
Because real faith says:

“Even if I don’t know where I’m going, I trust Who I’m following.”

Some of you reading this right now are in that very place:

• God’s nudging you to leave that old habit.

• God’s telling you to walk away from that relationship.

• God’s asking you to start that thing you feel unqualified to start.

• God’s inviting you to trust Him with something uncomfortable.

Listen to me, sis:
👉🏽 Delayed obedience is still disobedience.
👉🏽 Fear doesn’t cancel your calling, but fear can delay your fruit.

Your next level is on the other side of your yes.
Obedience is how you unlock doors you haven’t even seen yet.

🙏 Prayer:

Father, thank You for calling me even when I feel afraid.
Give me the courage to obey even when the path feels unclear.
Help me trust that You go before me, making crooked places straight.
I surrender my desire for comfort and control.
I choose to follow wherever You lead.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
