There’s a kind of tired that sleep doesn’t fix.
You can rest, take a break, step away for a while… and still feel worn down in places you can’t quite explain. Not physically. It’s deeper than that.
Scripture has a word for what we actually need in those moments.
Renewal.
Not a reset. Not a quick fix. Not “try harder this time.”
Renewal is something God does from the inside out. It’s the slow, steady work of restoring what has been stretched, worn, or quietly depleted over time.
And it doesn’t happen through striving. It happens through surrender. Through staying in the Word long enough for it to start reshaping how you think, how you respond, and how you see God in the middle of your everyday life.
That’s where we’re going this month.
This April Scripture writing plan is focused on renewal of the mind, the heart, and the spirit. One passage each day. No rushing. No skimming. Just letting the Word do what it was always meant to do… renew you.
Some verses will feel familiar. Others might land differently than they have before. That’s part of the process.
Here’s how I encourage you to approach this month:
Read slowly. Write the verse out. Sit with it longer than feels efficient. Ask what it reveals about God before you ask what it means for you.
Because renewal doesn’t start with us. It starts with Him.
And if you’ve been feeling worn down, scattered, or just a little spiritually tired lately… you’re not behind. You’re in exactly the place where renewal can begin.
And as always…
grace over guilt, presence over perfection. 💗
