Great listen! I recently read those words, you are clean. I almost tripped over them. I had missed it so many times. If this is true, Jesus said that they were ceremonially clean… then what is the implication of him saying this before the cross?
Is this living in the moment with Holy Spirit? Transactionally checking in to be sure we’re not picking up the clip board to check off the things? Forcing ourselves to drop the ego or to let go of the spiritual to do list. Pray this much. Read this much. Whatever. I need the transaction to check myself. Against pride or shame or anger or quick reaction too.

WOW! Thank you for this insight. I was just having a conversation with a friend today regarding John 15 and pruning. I'm in this season of pruning (it's good!) and this just confirmed and encouraged me so much!
I don't do well with audio teachings (or video, for that matter). I'm a reader. But I believe I am to mention that one of the main things the Lord impressed on me during my intensive discipline and discipleship training session from Jan 2020 until today was the need for two daily transactions with Him as I start the day. And how helpful they are.
First: Hineni—I offer myself as a living sacrifice.
Second: I ask the Holy Spirit to show me any sin in my life of which I have not repented.
Then I can freely ask for His anointing on what He has given me to do.
These are both simple and direct, thoughtful prayers. They really make a difference in my life. And they have greatly increased my anointing throughout the day in my life and work.
I am grateful for how close He has been, and all the things He's shown me over the past 6 and a half years.
I'm not religious about it. I simply find them practically helpful, plus they increase my faith.
