Exegesis is a big word for a simple idea: drawing out the real meaning of the Bible. It means letting the text speak for itself finding out what it meant back then before we decide what it means for us today.
The opposite is eisegesis… that’s when you read your own opinions, drama, or TikTok theology INTO the passage. We don’t do that here!
