New Series: How to Read the Scary Books of the Bible
Let me guess.
You’ve opened books like Revelation or Ezekiel before, read a few verses, and immediately felt overwhelmed, confused, or slightly stressed. So you closed it, told yourself you’d come back later, and quietly stuck to the safer parts of Scripture.
Yep… you’re not the only one by a long shot and you’re not doing anything wrong.
Most of us were never taught how to read apocalyptic books. We were handed strange images, intense language, and big emotions with no tools and a lot of pressure to “just understand it.” So instead of learning, we learned avoidance.
This series is for the people who want to read the whole Bible but feel intimidated by parts of it. The ones who love Scripture but don’t love feeling lost, anxious, or behind every time these books come up.
This won’t be sensational or scary. No end-times panic. No decoding charts. No pretending this stuff is easy on the first pass. Think calm Bible classroom where we slow down, talk about genre, context, imagery, and why these books were written in the first place.
The goal isn’t to make you an expert. It’s to help you open these books without fear and actually know how to approach them.
If you’ve ever thought, “I want to understand this, I just don’t know how,” this series is for you.
You’re allowed to understand Scripture. Even the parts that feel intimidating at first.
The first lesson of part one of the series (which is open to ALL subscribers), Why These Books Feel Scary (And Why That’s Not Your Fault), will be out Tuesday, January 13th!
See you then!
