In this week’s podcast, I shared the story of the paralytic man and his four friends—the ones who didn’t let a crowd or a ceiling stop them from getting their brother to Jesus. And my friends, that part has been living in my spirit. Because we talk a lot about believing, but this story? This is about believing for someone else. I couldn’t stop thinking about it after I hit record. So I dug deeper.
What does it mean to be that kind of friend? What does it say about our own spiritual paralysis when we’re too prideful to let others carry us? And what can we learn about Jesus from the way He responded—not just to the man, but to their faith?
