📖 Scripture of the Week:
Isaiah 30:15 – “In quietness and trust is your strength.”
🌿 The Word:
Let’s be real. Sometimes the loudest thing in your life isn’t the world, it’s your own mind. The lists. The pressure. The should’ve, could’ve, what-ifs. But this verse? It invites us to flip the script. Quiet and trust…two things that feel weak in the world’s eyes…are actually your power moves in the Kingdom.
God’s strength doesn’t show up when you’re doing the most. It shows up when you sit still long enough to hear Him whisper, “Daughter, I’ve got this.”
🔥 Coaching Nugget:
You don’t have to prove your faith with hustle. You show it with stillness. God isn’t waiting for your productivity, He’s waiting for your proximity.
💬 This Week’s Challenge:
When’s the last time you sat in silence with intention? Not scrolling. Not folding laundry with worship music on. But full-on stillness? Try five minutes today. Just you, Him, and this verse.
Write this question in your journal:
“Where is God inviting me to trade noise for trust?”
Then be bold enough to sit still and listen.
✨ Mini-Memo from Your Word Girl:
This weekend, anchor yourself in peace, not performance. Refill your cup before you try to pour again. And if you need help with that? Your girl’s got you.
The Confessions of a Word Girl devotional is full of real-life reminders that Jesus meets us in the mess, not after we’ve cleaned it up.
