📖 Scripture of the Week:
Psalm 119:130 – “The unfolding of Your words gives light, giving understanding to the simple.”
🌿 The Word:
Let’s keep it real: most of us don’t open our Bibles because we think we’re not ready.
Not smart enough.
Not disciplined enough.
Not holy enough.
But this verse says otherwise. It tells us that the Word itself is what brings light. Not your study plan. Not your perfection. Just God’s Word…unfolding, illuminating, breaking through the clutter with simple truth.
You don’t need a seminary degree to start. You just need to show up.
🔥 Coaching Nugget:
God’s not grading your Bible reading.
He’s waiting to meet you in it.
Confusion is the enemy’s favorite stall tactic. But the Holy Spirit is your built-in teacher. He’ll reveal what you need, one verse at a time.
💬 This Week’s Challenge:
What part of the Bible have you been avoiding because it felt overwhelming or “too deep”?
📓 Write it down in your journal.
📖 Then open it anyway. Just one chapter. One verse. One quiet moment.
Say this out loud:
“I don’t have to be ready. I just have to be willing.”
✨ Mini-Memo from Your Word Girl:
If your Bible’s been closed more than it’s been open lately, grace is still yours, friend.
You’re not behind. You’re not disqualified. You’re just one Word away from breakthrough.
Want more encouragement for your study time? Your Bible, Uncomplicated is for every woman who’s ever felt unqualified to study the Word, and still showed up anyway.

Amen. I want to read my Bible not to just read but for God to meet me there. That will be my prayer everyday before I start to read. Thank you!!
That is a perfect place to begin... I begin in bed everyday, that way I am not easily distracted by the needs and demands of the day...
