📖 Welcome to the Unshakeable Series!
Hey friend,
First of all, let me say how honored I am to walk this journey with you. If you’ve landed here, it probably means you’ve been standing in one of those in-between seasons. You know…the place where:
You believe God, but you’re still waiting on breakthrough.
You trust His promises, but you still wrestle with discouragement.
You know He’s faithful, but your feelings don’t always match your faith.
If that’s you, you are exactly who this Unshakeable series is for.
Over the next eight weeks, we are going to walk together through some of the most honest conversations about what it really looks like to build an anchored faith. The kind of faith that doesn’t fall apart when emotions get loud, timelines shift, or answers don’t come as quickly as we hoped.
📅 Here’s how the series will work:
Every Monday morning, you will receive a full devotional right here in your inbox. Each devotional will include teaching, Scripture, coaching questions, reflection prompts, and a prayer to help you process the truth in your real, everyday life.
Throughout the week, you’ll also receive shorter bonus posts that will include Scripture nuggets, reflections, prayer prompts, coaching questions, and a little Word Girl encouragement to keep you anchored between devotionals.
On Sundays, you’ll receive a quick recap of the week’s Scripture and a word of encouragement to get you ready for the next lesson.
📖 The Topics We’ll Be Covering:
Faith That Stands When Feelings Fail
When Obedience Costs You Comfort
Peace Is A Weapon
Surrendering What You Can’t Control
Joy In The Waiting
The Reward of Endurance
Wrestling But Still Trusting
The Middle Is Holy Ground
💖 What I want for you
I want you to finish this series stronger, steadier, and more confident in who God is, no matter what season you’re standing in.
Whether you’re in the middle of waiting, transition, uncertainty, or frustration, my prayer is that God will meet you right here in the middle and remind you that your foundation is unshakeable because He is unshakeable.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I’m praying for you as we begin, and I cannot wait to see what God does in your heart these next eight weeks.
Let’s go, friend. We’re just getting started.
📖 UNSHAKEABLE: Week 1
Faith That Stands When Feelings Fail
🌿 Scripture Anchor:
"For we walk by faith, not by sight."
— 2 Corinthians 5:7
💖 The Teaching:
Let’s be real, sis, some days my faith feels strong enough to move mountains. And other days? Honey…I can barely move myself out of bed.
I’ve learned that faith isn't about feeling powerful. It's not about goosebumps in worship or every prayer making perfect sense. It’s about trusting God’s truth even when my emotions are completely out of pocket.
Feelings are wild.
They change hourly.
They lie.
They overreact.
They pull you into fear, comparison, discouragement, anxiety — you name it.
But FAITH?
Faith stands on what God said, not what I feel.
Faith says: Even when I feel lost, He is still leading me.
Faith says: Even when I feel afraid, He is still my refuge.
Faith says: Even when I feel weak, His strength is enough.
I don’t always “feel” close to God.
I don’t always “feel” confident.
I don’t always “feel” qualified.
But every time I open His Word, I’m reminded:
My feelings don’t hold my future, my Father does.
Walking by faith means I step forward even when my emotions are messy.
It means I speak life even when doubt tries to creep in.
It means I trust His promises even when my circumstances don’t line up yet.
Because sis…your feelings will catch up.
But your faith has to lead.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You that my faith isn’t dependent on my emotions.
When my feelings get loud, help me to quiet my soul and trust Your Word.
Remind me that You are steady, faithful, and present even when I feel shaky.
I surrender my emotions to Your truth.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
🖊 Reflection Prompts:
Where have your emotions tried to pull you away from God's truth lately?
What specific promise from God do you need to stand on this week?
How can you intentionally choose faith over feelings today?

This week, I'm standing on the promise that God's favor surrounds me like a shield. God's word trumps my feelings!
I am starting this today from week one. I am in need of this as sin has crept in and confusion took over. I was being led my emotions and not the facts. My heart is fickle and misleading.
I am standing on Heb 4:16, Rom 8:1, Prov 3:5-6 and 2 for 12:9
I am drawing near to the feet of Jesus in times of trouble for his mercy and grace. He shields me from condemnation as I am his daughter and there is none for me. I will rely on his truths and not my own understanding. Trying him as I walk this out. And believing hindrance is enough for me.
