“Where two or three are gathered” gets quoted constantly. Usually when attendance is low. Sometimes when a prayer meeting feels underwhelming or as a call to group prayer. Occasionally as reassurance that a half-empty room still counts.
It sounds comforting.
It also gets disconnected from what Jesus was actually addressing.
