This is so eye opening. I chase perfection all day long only to be disappointed in myself at the end of the day. This helps me to give myself some grace! Thank you!
I continued to wonder why, after reaching a presumed level of maturity, G-d allowed testing of greater and greater magnitude to occur. It’s overwhelming at times.
I always look forward to your post. I an currently reading Genesis and your explanation of the fig leaves really deepen my understanding. Clearly you do a deep dive and I really admire that. As I study the word, I too, would like to deepen my understanding so I would like to know how you find the Hebrew words, how do you know which words are pertinent to find the translation and how do you study the word? Book by book? Do you follow a theme? I look forward to your response or in a future post. Thank you in advance. 😊
So I actually studied graduate level Hebrew and so I read the Tanakh with both the Hebrew and English side by side. I learned how to research the Hebrew further using a lexicon and that helps me look at the shoresh or root of the word and see how it’s used in other verses and in other ways.
I do have a Basic Beginners Biblical Hebrew course I offer for people who want to start learning to read.
