Gosh girl. This is sooooo good. I came to my own understanding of this without knowing Hebrew. 2 Cor. 3:18 is my life verse. We are being transformed back into our original "God Glory" (which I call it), and it's a beautiful and wonderful gift of restoration offered to us through the work of Christ on our behalf. I just love your teaching, as I said earlier in a comment, I can't keep up with all you publish, but I catch what I can and am always blessed. Keep up the good work! P.S. Oh, how I wish I had known this when my children were little. What a difference that would have made. Little shadows of the Almighty, not dirty rotten sinners, that we learned at church.
" ... from creation ... through distortion ... to restoration ..." That is just about the whole Bible encapsulated, Diane. Thanks again for an amazing insight from God's Word (and words!).
I’ve been a Christian for 43 years. Your articles and teachings are some of the best I’ve read and learned from. Thank you for your diligence in sharing your material.
@shessoscripture writes, "An idol is a physical representation of something divine. It is made to show people what the divine looks like, to put a face on the invisible, to stand in a place and say: this is what that is."
The imago dei, the image of God is most clearly represented in children. They show us what pure relational being is. They offer nothing, unproductive, only needy, helpless and yet they have everything they need to be a "physical representation of something divine." Children show us that God is love. They only have the capacity to be loved and love in return and that is enough.
Really appreciate Ur articles. Some of my brothers and sisters refer to themselves as sinners and this kinda bothers me. Ur article reinforced my thoughts 🤔
Your insight has helped me in areas of struggle as I am new in my walk. This life has not taught love or relationship, it has revealed motive to what does not belong to it. I appreciate your shares! You are a beautiful person. Thank you. 🕊️
I’m a “shadow-caster”! 🥰
AMEN!!!
So good!!
Thank you!!
