Psalm 18:30

As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

Psalm 84:11

For the LORD God is a sun and a shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity.

Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. 🇮🇱

Q: But why?

Why is God a shield?

Why is it the first I AM in our Genesis?

What is He protecting us from with a shield... of His Faith?

A: God is protecting us from the thoughts that penetrate our mind & pierce our heart.

The thoughts that fly swim roam slither & creep us out hourly & daily. This is why its the first I AM when we begin our journey with hearing & obeying God. We get 10,000- 70,000 thoughts per day depending upon our state of mind and condition of our heart. The character of a person is established by what comes and goes through these 2 organs. Our thoughts scribble and engrave marks on us and on others. That shield from God is what His Faith is all about. When we are faithless He reimains faithfull for He cant deny Himself when He is dwelling in us. His shield of Faith within & without is the key to Aleph and unlocks the door to Tav. May the Holy Spirit bring death & life - judgement & salvation to our every thought in our everyday life.

May our mind & heart be pure undefiled & blameless throughout.

I love how a shield while it goes with you to protect you also have to hold onto. We have to HOLD ON to HIM with faith and trust, we hold on to our Magen our protector our provider our ever present help in times of trouble!

"God identifies Himself as the magen. The shield is not an object God provides. The shield is a person. It’s Him. Standing between Abraham and everything threatening to undo him"

This is so powerful!

Thank You Father God for being my shield🙏🏾

Perplexed: Megan (shield) vs. Pakad (to attend or protect) similar yet different; both active. G-d is always watching in a loving and attentive manner.
