Regarding the statement:”in contrast to the feminine singular form מְבַשֶּׂרֶת (mevaseret) emplotyed in 40:90, where Zion is addressed as a herald.” Are you stating that heralds may be either male or female?

Thank you so much! Another great word study. I am really enjoying these as I feel that the Hebrew scriptures are neglected in the current Christian environment.

This article struck me as I have been looking at "good news" in Isaiah. I also appreciate the book links in your article. Keep up the good work!

Please don't take offence at this. It didn't exist when I was accumulating Bibles.

I don't have your Bible. What does it say in Matthew 23:7-8?

Another rich, thoughtful, and engaging piece! Thank you for reminding us that the gospel is, first and foremost, the announcement of what our King has already accomplished.

Diane, I also wanted to introduce myself. Hi, I'm Donna. ☺️I recently became a subscriber to your work. While I am a Bible teacher myself, I never want to stop learning, and I intentionally seek out teachers from whom I can continue to grow. You are one of those teachers.

I'm also excited to explore some of the tools and resources you offer.
